Project: design of 74-page book, walking tour and exhibition

Working with local historian, Louisa King, we created a book and a walking tour documenting the industrial heritage of Carrington Road in Marrickville, NSW. To launch the book and tour we curated an exhibition at Marrickville Library. The map was illustrated by Antonia Pesenti.

Working with members of the Bawaka Collective based at Macquarie University I created an innovative Intercultural Communications Handbook. The project included a contemporary design utilising personal quotes, photography and a rich, earthy colour palette.

Project: design of 36-page report ‘listening to people, listening to place’

Working with academics from The University of Newcastle and Monash University we combined illustrative photographs taken by the report authors with a fresh, positive colour scheme to produce an illuminating report that mirrored the inspiring stories with the text.

Project: design of a pocket sized 20-page ‘welcome’ booklet

The mini-book was conceived for the Carlile Swimming competitive swim team to welcome new swimmers, provide important information and outline the guidelines for being a positive member of the team. Incorporating photos of swim team athletes and displaying the team values with striking colour and graphics gives this little book a big impact.

Project: design of a Menopause Information Pack for Organizations

This information pack included a series of different resources such as posters, policy documents, fact sheets and checklist. We developed a series of brightly coloured, abstract patterns to complement the structured information and to give the pack a cohesive and contemporary look.
